Public Pages

Public pages are what your fans see when they click your link. They are completely separate from the app — no login required, no app UI — just your page.

What visitors see

• Your page name and description
• All your links as styled buttons
• Your custom colors and fonts
• Social media icons (if added in Settings → Socials)
• A countdown timer on Countdown links
• Streaming platform icons on Stream links

LNKN branding

Pages owned by Free plan accounts display a subtle "Made with LNKN" footer link. This branding is removed on Plus and Pro plans.

Preview mode

Owners can preview their page exactly as a visitor would see it, before publishing. The preview URL is lnknapp.com/preview/yourusername (or /preview/username/slug for non-profile pages).

Preview mode is only accessible to the page owner when logged in.

Publishing

Pages must be published to be publicly accessible. Unpublished pages return a 404 to visitors. You can publish or unpublish at any time from Page → Settings.

Tracking on public pages

When a visitor loads your public page:

1. LNKN checks the page owner's subscription tier
2. If the owner is on Plus or Pro and tracking is enabled, a page view is recorded
3. When a visitor clicks a link, a click event is recorded
4. If Meta Pixel is configured, the Pixel fires PageView and ViewContent events

Free-tier pages are never tracked, regardless of toggle settings.

Social links

Social handles added in Settings → Socials appear as icons on your public profile page. Clicking them opens the corresponding social profile.

Performance

Public pages are lightweight and load quickly. They fetch only the page data they need — no authentication overhead, no dashboard JavaScript.
