Billing Settings
Settings → Billing
Manage your subscription plan and payment details.
Current plan
The Billing page shows your active plan (Free, Plus, or Pro) and its included features. A plan card for your current tier is highlighted.
Upgrading
Click Upgrade to Plus or Upgrade to Pro to start the Stripe checkout flow. You'll be taken to a secure Stripe-hosted payment page to enter your card details.
After payment, you're redirected back to the Billing page with ?upgraded=1 in the URL. LNKN automatically:
- Detects the upgrade parameter
- Fetches your new subscription tier from the database
- Updates your session — no logout/login required
Your new plan features are available immediately.
Annual vs monthly billing
Both Plus and Pro offer monthly and annual billing options. Annual billing works out to:
- Plus: $48/year (~$4/month, saving $24/year)
- Pro: $120/year (~$10/month, saving $60/year)
Select your preferred billing cycle on the checkout page.
Managing your subscription
Click Manage Subscription to open the Stripe Billing Portal. From there you can:
- Switch between monthly and annual billing
- Downgrade to a lower tier
- Cancel your subscription
- Update your payment method
- View past invoices
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then.
Billing security
All payments are handled by Stripe. LNKN never stores your card number or payment details. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified.
Subscription status
Your subscription status is stored alongside your account. If a payment fails, Stripe will retry and notify you by email. During a payment failure grace period, your paid features remain accessible.
